Emilio Cervantes

Economist and private collector of contemporary Spanish art from the 20th century. Son of Spanish antiquarians, he lived in an artistic environment which later influenced his collection.

He acquired his first few art pieces during his second professional stage, particularly during the 70s and 80s. More than 300 works of art from the final collection come from this period. Additionally, he shared his passion for art and promoted many artists. He introduced them to other collectors and took part on building up their recognition, both nationally and internationally.

In his collection is composed of contemporary Spanish artwork, from artists like Enrique Padial, Fermín Santos, Juan Garcés, Juan Montesinos, Marcos Bustamante, Luis Domingo García, Roberto Domingo…
